With over 30 years of experience behind the chair, Lydia is a master barber who has built her business from the ground up. Over the decades, she’s continued to grow, evolve, and deepen her craft. She specializes in razor cuts, clipper cuts, and color—bringing precision and artistry to every style.

Bethany is a managing licensed cosmetologist with a well-rounded skill set and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. A 2007 graduate of Brown Aveda Institute, she brings years of experience to every service. Bethany offers haircuts, color, manicures, and pedicures—with a focus on quality, care, and personalized results.

Maryann, a Managing Stylist with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Specializing in advanced hair coloring techniques, highlighting, and Balayage, Maryann is known for creating effortlessly beautiful, personalized looks that reflect each client’s unique beauty.

Rachel brings over 15 years of experience to the salon, and she’s been part of the Awaken team since 2017. Hi Awaken! My name is Sarah, I am a 2 year licensed esthetician, specializing in brazilian waxing, brow artistry, spray tanning and acne and age management skin treatments. I started my esthetic journey at Brown Aveda and graduated in September 22' after 7 years of nursing assistance. After becoming a Mom I decided to pivot my passion for client/patient relationships toward aesthetics where I have found so much joy in helping both men and women feel their best! Dee moved to Ohio from California in 2021.
After 13 years of a running a successful business she sold her quaint Color Salon in Claremont California.
Dee moved to experience a slower pace of life to enjoy country living and to be closer to family.
Dee is a Master Colorist and Stylist, she worked as a part time color educator for Goldwell until she opened her own salon no longer had time as her business grew. She also led and trained new stylists in the former salon she worked at in Ontario California.
Dee received education through a Vidal Sassoon program and Tigi haircutting techniques as well.
Versatile in seamless haircuts through dry cutting and traditional structured wet cutting for clean and perfect bobs and blunt cuts. Long layers will alway be bouncy and softly blended.
She also is experienced with natural curly hair and is a Certified Ouidad stylist and will help you to embrace your curls.
Her passion for color and Hair transformations is never ending. Specializing in Highlights, Balayage, Color changes and Color blending.
Dee loves connecting with people and building relationships. She loves making people smile.
